Digital video is growing strongly (71% CAGR FY12-15). YouTube is leading the charge and now represents ~A$130m of the A$389m Digital video market on our estimates. We expect Digital video to grow strongly and while TV will lose share of viewing to Digital video (and some share of AdEx), the biggest risk is to Print in our opinion.

In this report, we examine how YouTube and in particular Multichannel Networks (MCNs) have emerged within the Digital video market, their key growth drivers, revenue model, challenges and the impact on traditional TV.
